Hi ! My name is Mandy DeVries and I love being apart of the life events of my clients! Photographing the big and small moments is what I was made to do! From your wedding day to your new baby, I want to be there to capture it all for you. Using a mix of styles, in a combination of Color and Black & White, I want preserve the moments in your life for you to cherish forever!

I have been in love with the camera since I was young, so when the opportunity came to work as an assistant for a photography company (in 2001), it was a perfect fit. I continued to work as a photography assistant throughout my time at Calvin College where I received degrees in Fine Arts and Education. When friends started asking me to photograph their weddings and families, Memories by Mandy Photography was born  (in 2003) . 

Since that time I have enjoyed shooting hundreds weddings, countless babies, children, families and seniors, and in Feb 2010 helped start a studio where I can shoot all year long! I also love working with athletes and sports teams and have worked with many teams including most of the varsity teams at Rockford High School to create banners and other memorable items to display around the campus.

I grew up in Rockford, MI and am a Ram Fan to the core. I now live there with my husband, Tim, and our sons, Owen and Reed. I love Starbucks (it is a weakness), staying up late, and cramming as many fun activities into my week as possible! We are a sports family with my boys playing football ( both) Volleyball ( Owen), Hockey ( Reed), and Baseball ( both) and also love that Owen is a proud member of the 6 time state champ Rockford High School. Marching band. I am blessed with an amazing family, wonderful loyal friends and am truly so blessed to LOVE what I do!
